| Based off the preview, it seems like this might have been the very final full 24 minute one so all I'm gonna say is that wow. What a fantastic flashback. I really love how Toki's death was handled and all the oden mini flashbacks with momo and hiyori are super emotional. I feel bad for the scabbards :( 5/5 |

| This episode was so good. Toei once again did a good job showing some brutality of Kuri's demise and Toki's death. Sure it was filler or so. But it added a little more closure or better understanding of what really happened since the manga implicit scenes of what happened. |
| Emotionally heavy episode. Now we see how the loyal scabbards got separated. Cat & Dog have differences in their opinions & agenda hence they argued & fought each other which led to them being subdued by one of the "Numbers". Ashura and Denjiro stayed behind to stop most of the enemies trying to chase them. Kinemon's group along with Momonosuke have been transported 20 years into the future while Kawamatsu was left behind to look after Hiyori. Toki announced the prophecy and then she has been assassinated. Very sad end for her. :'( Too bad Shinobu couldn't save Lady Toki... Kuri has been completely destroyed and the "Endless Night" begins in Wano. The flashback of Kozuki Oden is the most impactful flashback so far in the story of One Piece and possibly the best flashback that ties in with legends of the series such as Roger and Whitebeard during their prime. And then there's Laugh Tale where we were teased by the treasure which the Roger Pirates have witnessed (and laughed). I also want to mention how Toei put so much care in handling this flashback with the storytelling and all that gorgeous animation. Next episode should be the very last parts of Oden's backstory proceeding to its conclusion. |

| Flashbacks are finished The start of the flashbacks is when i caught up to one piece an started watching weekly I hope to see the Straw Hats next week and continue watching them weekly as the Flashbacks have been running for at least 3 months |
| the flashback story is not completly finished as you can probably see if you watch the preview, but it will end next episode. I just don't know where in the episode it will end. Either way there is literally only a bit more then half a chapter left so we are SO VERY close. Will be seeing back to the present next week. |

| Ah, so maybe this is the point Nekomamushi and Inuarashi got bitter with each other suspecting each other of being the one who betrayed Oden. It was an emotional episode with Toki, Momo and Hiyori remembering Oden and their sweet memories together. And the final moment of Toki that was built up was done so well by Toei too! Kind of feels like Oden was almost talking about Luffy and someone else when he said after 20 years, someone will come and help the Land of Wano. Now, it seems like we will be seeing Luffy very soon, its been quite some time. |

| Fuck man, that ending made me cry, I never would have thought that Toki's death of all characters would have done it, but man Toei just knocked it out of the park, the music, the lighting, the dialogue, everything was perfect. Seeing Oden castle burn like that was so hard to watch, anyone who's been watching since January has spent 4 months with the Kozuki clan and now its castle is gone. Next episode is the finale in this incredible journey, and I cannot wait to see how they handle chapter 974, I know a lot of people have bene waiting for it, me included |

| I think the anime did a better job at representing Oden's story . It was really great , no doubt about it ,it is my favorite backstory in all of one piece. Loved it 5/5. |

Yes its presumed that part of the story behind One piece is that Joyboy, a mysterous individual that existed during the void century was an ancient ancestor to the D family and his will is being passed down supposedly to someone or a "figure" who will arrise in the new world. Who will come to open wano's country to the world. He also learned that the Kozuki clan was responsible for closing off wano to protect its country from a massive power. All of this ODEN learned at laugh tale once he discovered the truth of "one piece" and the major secrets of the world. It just really makes you wonder doesn't it? What in the world is on that island? |

| Ok most of it is already explained but why did Toki not send Hiyori and Kawamatsu with the rest? Feels a bit cruel to separate her from her brother and force them into hiding. |
| Damn, her death was quite sad and brutal, but props to Toei for going all out to showcase how grim it truly was. Looks like next episode is the end for Oden's flashback. |

| A dark and intense ep., I got to say that. Really saddening to see Toki being killed like that. I really wished we could know more about her power. Is it a devil fruit or something else. That would be quite interesting. Maybe it will come later. Nevertheless, her speech at the end was just as epic as Oden's last words. It's going to be interesting to see what happens to the member that wasn't traveled to the future and how they survive for 20 years. | Such a beautiful and bittersweet episode to almost end this part of the Wano story. This also explains where the dispute between Inuarashi and Nekomamushi began. Definitely too much emotions in that moment. I wonder if that giant guy who catched them was 1 of the shadowy figures we saw before Odens story began. We also got the full context why some of the Akazaya Nine like Denjiro, Ashura and Kawamatsu (we knew the reason before) stayed in the present. So sad to see all the flashbacks of Oden and his family. It made me so sad when he told Momo and Hiyori he won't die. ;_; I also thought Toki never left the castle, but seeing her getting shot to death was not really any better. RIP ;_; Now there are some things I noticed. So far we haven't seen or heard anything of Denjiro, at least that's what I thought. I was so stupid for not noticing the similarity in their voices. I think the preview gave me the hint I needed to finally see it. That would also explain What I'm curious about is, did Hiyori knew that? Can't wait to see what will happen next episode. I wonder if I'm also right about my suspicion about the traitor among the Akazaya Nine. |

| I dislike these backlash episodes. Just feels like they're milking this out and then continue normally with 200 episodes before the arc is finished. Bloody hell. As for the episode, meh like always. Just my opinion though. Liked this show before the new era. |

They also cover the void century and show us more of the important pirate figures of the last few decades. How is this dragging the story? Especially since Wano is central to the world of OP having created the poneglyphs. The anime:manga pace is also really good compared to what it used to be. |
